Our Approach
We believe every student learns and retains information through active engagement. Here at Creative Academy, we create a safe space for kids to learn about themselves and understand their capabilities, as they develop their cognitive, social, and emotional skills. We facilitate learning experiences that foster problem solving, curiosity, creativity, communication, collaboration, initiative, and independence.

Mathematics
The National Association of Math for Young Educators affirms that children must be introduced to high quality, challenging and accessible mathematics education in order to create a vital foundation among young children. Our math module includes play, logic, reasoning, critical thinking and problem solving strategies.
Science + Technology
Children are naturally curious about their world. When they stare at objects, or play with blocks they are engaging in scientific inquiry and expanding their understanding of the world. Our science and exploration module fosters curiosity through inquiry, exploration, scientific reasoning, questioning and experimenting.

Creative Arts
Young children are imaginators. They enjoy self- expression and self- exploration through art. Using their imagination and different materials students explore their creativity through art. This supports their thinking skills, healthy development of the right side of the brain, and improves motor development. Art can change a young mind's outlook and the way they experience the world.
Psychical Development + Health
Students explore movement during physical activities, developing their motor and cognitive skills. They develop strength, flexibility, balance, hand-eye coordination, and dexterity. As they grow, they learn how to engage in healthy behaviors.

Language, Literacy, and Communication
Research supports that when students are exposed to a print rich environment it helps develop their language and literacy skills. Our language modules and our book cafe introduces students to the joy of reading and communication. Our focus on learning a wide range of vocabulary words through the various activities and books will enable them to be successful at school.
Social Studies
Social studies helps social development by interacting with the communities created within the classrooms. Through these communities, children learn to respect the values and differences of others, celebrate diversity within the classroom, participate in classroom decisions and recognize the different roles within a group setting.

Social Skills and Emotional Development
Our small class sizes provide a safe and supportive environment. This enables students to develop a positive self- identity. Students learn how to regulate their feelings in the classroom with their peers and teachers. They learn how to build relationships, engage in cooperative play and resolve social conflicts.
